The Zergs unlike Terrans and Protoss doesn’t use technology, instead to match their technology they assimilate other species and direct mutation. They are cheap and produce fast.

In the game we find a perfect counter for every unit.  This in real sense is more applicable for the Protoss. The Protoss which are very expensive and hence their choice of unit has to be taken extra care and therefore right unit has to be produced at the right time.

• Immortal- We can call it the ‘best counter’ with the best DPS and best tank to fight against the Ultralisks. They provide us with great cost efficiency as they deal with 50 per attack by taking just 10 dmg.
• Void Ray- One should bring a good number of Void Ray in army to fight against Ultralisk as they can’t be harmed. They cause a long range ground damage destroying the Ultralisks. A fully charged Void Ray destroys the Ultralisks within no time.
• Mothership- They can destroy the whole army of the opponents while fighting against Ultralisks and vice versa.
• Stalker- They cause heavy damage when in range and they drive the ultralisks crazy just by a blink and kill them. They are spread out to avoid the splash cleave damage.
• Carrier- the flying killer, yes they fly and hurt the ultralisks and destroy them.

So like this we have got the best Protoss counter against every Zergs and that’s what makes improved form of the amazingly interesting StarCraft’s sequel ‘StarCraft 2’ even more interesting.
