Shokz Starcraft 2 Protoss Strategy – Top Protoss Strategies Guide
Protoss is a race of futuristic aliens. Think of the Predators in ‘Aliens vs Predators’. They have advanced technology and have powerful and large units to defeat their enemies. They are one of the most popular races. They are an easy race to handle, but very challenging to be a great player with.

Each race has advantages and disadvantes, and below are the pros & cons of Protoss.
Pros:
- They are the fastest building race. They are unique since they don’t build things, they teleport from their home world. A probe will just summon the building, then move on. Problem is you need to have the building placed within the range of a pylon. A single and every probe can build dozens of buildings provided you have enough minerals and pylons.
- They are Strong mid-to-late game. They have a lot of late game units, and are able to build a formidable army given a few minutes to prepare. They can summon new armies rapidly with warp gates.
- The photo canon, the best defensive structureThe only building that is a detector, and can attack ground and air units.
Cons:
- They are the slowest starter compared to terran and zerg. They are very easily rushed. Zealots are slower, even against zeglings and reapers, and gateways are slow to build. A skilled opponent with ranged or fast units can run circles around zealots.
- They are easily harassedSince they are slow starter, it is easy for others to wreck havoc on their minerals and economy. Reapers can also cause major damage to probes in a short amount of time. Protoss can get a few cannons in his mineral base, but this will slow down unit production and advancement. They can also quickly build to have stalkers but they will be open to zergling rush.
What a protoss should do is to scout the opponent. Depending on the opponent is building, protoss can then build cannons, or stalkers appropriately.
