Shokz StarCraft 2 Crazy Zerg Zergling Rush (almost 400 Zerglings Massive Attack) – Strategy Guide

Zerglings are produced two at a time, and they a simple genetic structure. Although they are small in size, they possess razor-lined appendaged, multiple claws and fangs, which makes it a fearsome creature to swarm its opponents. This is the basic combat unit of zerg, and the cheapest as well. But because of their low health, small numbers of zerglings can be taken down by enemy ranged units like marines. But in large groups, it becomes easier to reach ranged units, and surround enemy units. Metabolic Boost upgrade located in the spawning pool boost zerglings, and they are sometimes referred as speedlings when this metabolic boost is upgraded.

The video below shows  a game where almost 400 mass zerglings doing a massive attack.

Zerglings in the late game would seem to be non-existent, but they also have the adrenal glands upgrade which becomes available upon completion of a Hive, which increases attack speed and damage of zerglings by 25%. Zerglings with the Adrenal Glands and Metabolic Boost are also referred to as ‘Cracklings’. This will put massive pressure on enemy if large swarms of this attack them.

They are very vulnerable to units with AoE attack and abilities such as Collosi, High Templars, Archons, Siege Tanks, Hellions, and Banelings. But they are great against expensive and single target enemy units like marauders, stalkers, and hydralisks.

For now, this ends here. For advanced and secret strategies & techniques, I recommend checking out the guide below:
