Here are the Terran units that works best against Hydralisks :

• Marines – In a 1 on 1 match-up, hydralisk kills marine. But mass marines is an excellent counter against hydralisks with combat shield upgrade or a single infantry armor upgrade. 3 marines will easily defeat 1 hydralisk while costing the same amount of resourcess and less building requirements.

• Ravens – 2 things make Raven great against hydralisks. First, Hunter-seeker Missile is great against stationary units, and hydralisks likes to stand and shoot, and they don’t move that quick. These missiles also does 100 damage, just enough to kill hydras with 1 shot. The point defense drone will also absorb many shots from hydralisks and save your troops a lot of damage.

• Siege Tanks – Now this is the best counter to hydralisks. They can kill several hydralisks while in siege mode. They also have a huge range, and splash damage.

• Reapers – They have additional damage to light units and they are mobile. They inflict 18 damage per attack against hydralisks, a lot better than what hydras do(they only do 12 dmg per attack), and they cost a lot less to make.
