This gas-steal is Fun! But it’s frustrating & probably also annoying -> to your poor enemy…u

A Gas Steal is :

• blocking your enemy’s gas by building an extractor or assimilator on top of it.
• Performed in the early game, denying the opponent their initial Gas production.
• purpose is to disrupt or interrupt your opponent’s build order, and this can potentially devastate your enemy.

For Terran, Don’t Gas Steal! Just be prepared on how to counter this…u

Playing as zerg you can build an extractor in your opponent’s base. Cancel this extractor before it finishes and rebuild. Continue doing this until they have enough units to severely damage the extractor :

about 2:00 minutes mark… gas stealing also depends on what your opponent is aiming to do… in here, zerg does the stealing after toss builds a cybernetics, so disrupting his build. Once it’s almost done, cancel it, and build again…u from the video, you lose 25% of the cost of a build when you cancel, but it’s all worth it.
