One goes with mass Zealots/Sentries/Stalkers/Colossus and the other goes mass Sentries/Stalkers/Immortals. Notice how both of them use Sentries Force Fields to block each other, and to block entrance to their bases. In part 2, Colossus range upgrade is very important in increasing damage and effectiveness over time. Notice how Protoss goes Colossus, and positions then on cliffs above his base.
