Best Starcraft 2 Zerg 6 Pool Rush Strategy Guide – Top Shokz SC2 Zerglings Rush Strategies

In every game, Rush is a very common term being used. It usually means to attack in surprise with speed to be able to destroy your opponent before they can build up strong defense of their base. Of course, you need to make sure your opponent is unready for you attack or else it won’t be called a surprise. In this post is the Zerging rush, which refers to the rush tactic of the Zergs. Further tips, guidelines and information on the 6 pool Rush are discussed below. This will give you ideas on how to be successful in using this strategy.

;

There are 2 ways in charging your enemy with the Rushing tactics which are:

  • Turtling – a combination of building a powerful defense and a massive fire power. It would be best to use aircraft units and a number of artillery then later on you can have your army marching in to your opponent’s base.
  • Quick Expansion – being able to build better and expensive units and facilities than your opponent. Through this you will be able to achieve dominance quickly on the game.

Zerg rush refers to the tactic in attacking your enemy with 6 or more zerg units. This would be a strategy in creating a Spawning pool as the game starts and the Zerg player would sacrifice its economy to enable Zerglings. In the 6 Pool Rush often shortened as 6 pool, the player would start building up to six worker units and til he gets enough resources, a Spawning Pool can be built.

;

6 pool rush is a very risky strategy and a rare one too. If you will be able to get 6 pool rush tactic, this means you can’t afford to have other units but Drones only. You will need to micro and have the lings in the correct positions. They have to surround your area. From here you are not that behind from your enemy. Just make sure you won’t allow him to expand.

;

This tactic is good if you are good in handling your resources well. Prioritizing the spawning pool first. You will be able to overwhelm your enemy only if he has insufficient defense system. Zerglings are quick and cheap so that is why continuous attack to your enemy’s base will surely be a victory. Always have the main building to be the first target. For Terran it is called the Command Center, Nexus for Protoss and Hatchery for Zerg. Through this, it will prevent your opponent to have the capability in gathering resources and would loss the chance in creating quick offensive units against your harass.

;

So, do not be afraid in using this tactic. It could be rare and very risky but once you get the hang of it and with the right timing, it is a sure win for you. Not to forget the above tips and of course make sure to make the first move. It will never be a surprise attack if your enemy is prepared and has made its first attack on the game.
