Thor is one of the most powerful unit of the Terran race. Thor is considered to be the “ultimate heavy-assault mech”. Before you will be able to create a Thor, you will then first need a factory that produces it, together with armory and tech lab. To be able to produce a Thor, you will need 300 minerals and 200 gas. Build time usually takes 60 seconds. Its vitals stats are 400 hit points and 200 energy. It uses 2 kinds of weapon :

A) Thors Hammer – attacks on the ground which has 30 (+3) damage points with a range of 7 and speed of 1.28.

B) Javelin Missile Launchers – attacks in the air which has 6 +1 damage points with a range of 10 and speed of 3. it has an additional of 6 vs light. The Thor has the ability called 250mm strike cannons. It fires at a single unit , stunning it and gives 500 damage over 6 seconds to it. For the Thor to be able to give this attack, it needs 100 energy and it has an attack range of 7. Like any other unit, upgrades are also available which are;

• Vehicle weapons upgrade – upgrades the damage rate dealt by the ground vehicles. 1st upgrade would need 100 minerals and gas, 2nd upgrade needs 175 on minerals and gas and 250 for the last upgrade.
• Vehicle plating upgrade – upgrades the armor of the ground vehicles which needs 100 minerals and gas on the 1st upgrade, 175 on the second upgrade and 250 for the last upgrade.

Now, here are the things you will need to do for you to be able to accomplish the Thor rush tactic. First thing first, you will need to build supply depot at 10 supplies, then build your barracks at 12 supplies, followed by your refinery at 13. next is, build a factory when you get 100 gas. While building these structures, keep training more scvs and marines plus some orbital command boost. Just a tip, don’t build a tech lab on the barracks that you built not unless you have your armory. As soon as everything above is finish, build an armory as soon as possible. When you have your armory, then you can build a tech lab. After this, build a Hellion right away. As soon as your armory is don, build your first Thor. Right after your first Thor, put 8 scvs on it and then go for your first attack. You can just right click to be able to set up an auto repair. Just right click on repair option. As soon as you sent them out, build your second Thor. When it is done, put 6 scvs on it and send them out as a support on your first Thor. And then repeat this until you have destroyed your enemy.
